An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the Indian Navy crashed just as it was landing close to the runway here tonight, navy sources said.
The UAV was on a routine training mission when the incident occurred at 7.30 PM., they said.
Indian Navy operates Heron and Searcher MK II UAV’s, both are Israeli made ,navy has still not informed which uav was crashed , Navy has lost very high numbers of uav recently and in previous crash Israeli manufacturers where called in to fix some problems with the uavs ,navy never disclosed what was the exact problem and was it fixed
